With the goal of Active People, Healthy Nation℠ is CDC's national initiative to help 27 million Americans become more physically active by 2027. CDC’s Moving Matters Initiative is focused on increased physical activity that can improve health, quality of life, and reduce health care costs.
Challenge: Encourage black and Latina women (aged 18-44), including mothers of school-aged children (pre-K through high school), who live in Georgia or Virginia in urban or suburban areas and who are interested in being more physically active and are insufficiently physically active or inactive.
Solution: Development of campaign that is informative, authentic, inspiring, and inclusive. Create paid media ads that communicate information clearly, showcasing images of relatable women of all body sizes and types.
